Dear Beautiful Soul,
A new client recently asked me, “How important are our food choices when it comes to being a clear channel?” It is a brilliant question. My response is the following: Humans are made of energy. Our bodies require fuel, which we get from food, to carry out our basic life functions. We can choose to source our bodies with high vibrational foods or low vibrational ‘foods’. The high vibrational foods include fresh fruits and vegetables, healthy grains, legumes, and basically any food that is in its natural form and grows straight from the earth. The low vibrational foods include highly processed ‘foods’ that typically come in packaging and have little to no nutrients.
We may like the taste of processed foods but they do not source our bodies with good quality energy or nutrition. We all know how we feel when we enjoy a healthy meal of high-quality foods of various vibrant colors. And we know how we feel when we eat a bag of potato chips. We can trust our bodies to tell us what they need if we are willing to pause and check in. We can also trust our body’s response to certain foods and use it as a guide to help us make future food choices. Listening to our bodies’ guidance brings us into energetic alignment with foods that source us with a higher vibration.
When we carry a higher vibration from within, we are naturally a higher vibrational point of attraction. A healthy body that gets plenty of rest, hydration, exercise, and high-quality live foods will be a clearer vessel. A clearer vessel naturally leads to a clearer channel for divine energy to move through us. I believe our food choices are a direct reflection of our level of self-love and self-care (this is assuming we have easy access to fresh healthy food, which many communities do not). I can honestly say that when I am attuned and responsive to the needs and requests of my body, I am a clearer channel for myself and all those I serve.
