Hello beautiful soul!
I really, really, really miss my dear Dad.
It has been almost two years since his passing and the void is constant.
You might be thinking,
“Why don’t you just channel him?”
I do.
And I still miss him with every cell in my body.
Channeling doesn’t take away the pain of missing someone you love.
But it does create opportunities for healing
and forging a different kind of connection.
I am enjoying this new relationship with my Dad,
even through my tears of grief.
We talk every day, often as I’m walking my dogs.
Being in motion helps me think more clearly and be more present.
So while I’m walking, I share my challenges and triumphs with him.
Frequently, I ask for his wise counsel and strong opinions.
He always responds.
Sometimes his responses are fully predictable.
I could have scripted them myself, based on my lifetime of knowing him.
Other times, however, he surprises me.
Like the time I asked him how I should handle a situation
with a person we both dislike:
“Stick it to ‘em, honey.”
That one made me laugh out loud.
Or the time I asked for advice with another relationship
and the gentleness of his counsel softened all the harshness I’d been feeling.
It allowed me to come back to myself with love and acceptance.
Being able to channel my Dad is a gift, indeed.
I believe we all have the ability to channel.
As I’ve dedicated my professional life to the craft of channeling,
I’m honored to share it with you.
