Hello Beautiful Soul!

It has been five months since I moved back
into my childhood home.
Living here fills me with joy every day.

Most days, I still have a hard time believing
that I live here.
The home looks completely different,
thanks to 7 months of renovations.

And the home feels completely different,
thanks to 3+ decades of my own internal
physical, emotional, spiritual, mental, and energetic renovations.

I am not the child that grew up here.
I am the whole, integrated, healthy adult that I have
worked hard to become.

This land is sacred.
She communicates with me each day.
Her living creatures (birds, lizards, plants, worms, insects, rabbits, squirrels)
are endless sources of entertainment and belonging.
And they feel like family.

I planted a vegetable garden
where sandy dirt once sat stagnant.
Last week I harvested a purple cauliflower.
A purple cauliflower!

I put up a bird feeder and birdbath
and am serenaded daily by
bluejays, cardinals, mourning doves, and mockingbirds.
There’s even an Eastern Screech Owl
that serenades me from its treetop at night.

I found new locations for my fruit trees
bananas, papayas, cherry, and mangos.
And we are watching each other thrive.

I invited life and life invited me.

My dogs are discovering new delicacies
like freshly harvested kale and cabbage leaves.
They are forging a relationship (of sorts) with the female
mallard duck that takes her daily swim in the pool.

Tending to the land has given me exactly what I need:
A slower pace to enjoy the miracles of nature.

I share all of this to perhaps inspire you to:
Plant a seed.
Plant a garden.
Grow an herb.
Feed the birds.
Put out fresh water for the wildlife.
Watch the sunset.
Slow down.
Breathe deeply.

I will be sharing more about how to connect more deeply with nature in my upcoming monthly Inner Wisdom Circle. We will channel together every month and you will leave with more inspiration, joy, and connection than you ever thought possible.
