Hello beautiful soul!

“I love money and money loves me.”

I first learned this mantra years ago while working with a business coach. See, back then I had some hang ups around money. I know, I know, that’s so rare. For reasons unknown to me, I had a fear of money: not making enough, making too much. In reading Lynne Twist’s brilliant book The Soul of Money, I learned that my issues with money came from my unexamined, unconscious assumptions about money and the world.

Lynne writes that most of us have been conditioned to believe these great myths of scarcity:

1. There is not enough.

2. More is better.

3. That’s just the way it is and there’s nothing you can do about it.

The book changed my relationship with money forever. I learned that money flourishes when it’s given a purpose and put into flow. Just like water, if money accumulates and stagnates it can become unhealthy. But when it flows through us, it can be a source of love, generosity, care, and joy.

When I started channeling the wisdom and essence of money, I began to understand where my money wished to travel, land, and serve. I became more philanthropically minded which opened my heart to people, places, and life that I would not otherwise know about. My world and my heart expanded.

I’ve learned to give my money a purpose and direction and it always shows up to fulfill. Often, I invite others to join me in the joy of sending money into flow for an important cause.

You've probably seen my emails and posts about Kabul Small Animal Sanctuary and their monumental goal of airlifting 300 healthy and adoptable dogs and cats out of Afghanistan to the safety of the United States. Well, we are in the very last days of fundraising for this enormous undertaking. We are almost there....it is almost a reality...but they need one last push of donations to make this miracle happen.
To date, we've raised more than $670k out of the required $775k. Can you take a moment with me and breathe into just how powerful that is? Now, take another deep breath and hold in your vision the success of this mission. Please imagine 300 beautiful dogs and cats being safely transported across the globe to loving arms and homes ready to receive them.
Now, take one more deep breath and let's move this goal over the finish line. Please share with the animal lovers in your communities. Every donation allows Kabul Small Animal Sanctuary to continue to serve the animals who most depend on their care in a part of the world that is often forgotten. Please donate whatever amount you can contribute in the link below:

So, back to the mantra:

“I love money and money loves me.”

Try it out. Does it make you smile? Does it feel empowering? Does it open doors of possibility? It does for me.

From the bottom of my heart, I thank you for your kindness. Together, we are creating the more beautiful world our hearts know is possible.
