These are the top 3 ways I used my intuition this week:
1. Deciding what to eat. Our bodies are one of the greatest sources of innate wisdom, and we can trust that wisdom. When I stop to ask my body to guide me in selecting the foods with the highest vibration, I know I am making my menu choices from a more attuned place. Yes, sometimes I still opt for the vegan ice cream, but who’s to say that’s not my body’s wisdom talking??
2. Choosing the best way to move my body. This was a tough week for me, as I learned some devastating news from a dear friend. I felt grief and overwhelm take over my physical state. When this happens, movement is the best option for me. Sometimes my body needs to move in slow, gentle ways so yoga is my go-to. Other times, it wants to pound the pavement on a run outside. And yet other times it wants to lie in a heap on the floor in frozen stillness. When I allow my body to intuit what it needs to move energy out and invite new energy in, I am sourced with a deeper connection to myself.
3. Deciding which events to attend and which to decline. I’ve learned to tune into my intuition when I receive event invitations to help me decide if the event is the right one for me. Before I respond to the invitation, I imagine myself attending the event and I feel into whatever is present. If the imagined event feels constricting, obligatory, and heavy, that’s a NO. If, on the other hand, I feel light, open, joyful and excited when I imagine attending the event, that’s a YES.
