I’ve noticed recently that it’s becoming easier for me to trust the universe. This hasn’t always been the case. I’ve bought into the belief that there is greater value in working hard than in allowing. It has been a process for me to be willing to play with the idea of release and allow. I’m still a fan of hard work and I still have to make myself engage in the peaceful state of allowing. But it’s so worth it. I scheduled two events in Austin, Texas recently. The purpose of the trip was to take my son to look at colleges. The fact that I now know enough people in Austin to schedule two different events is icing on the cake (I love cake!). I scheduled two private channeling groups with two very connected people. We all had the fullest expectation that the groups would fill with very little effort. We set our intentions, worked out the details, and moved forward with the plans. Within a very short time, one of the groups filled to capacity. I was thrilled. I figured the same would happen with the other group, yet week after week I did not receive any registrations. The host and I stayed in close contact with each other and we were both stumped. There seemed to be lots of interest but no action. We decided to set a minimum enrollment and a deadline for registrations. We didn’t meet the minimum enrollment. Stumped again. I had an option: go to the place of disappointment OR trust that this was not divine timing for the second group to take place. We decided to cancel the group and I refunded the participants that had registered. The same day I was issuing the refunds, a couple people from the canceled group asked if they could join the full group. I contacted the host and we agreed we could create space to bring in a few more participants. Within minutes, a participant registered that the host knew from facebook but had never met in person. The host contacted me to tell me that she had been hoping to meet this participant for a long time but the timing had never presented itself until now. If I had not canceled the first group for lack of interest, this participant would never have registered for the second group and had the opportunity to potentially create a new friendship/relationship with the host. It was just one more affirmation from the Universe inviting me to trust in the unfolding. What about you? What areas of your life can you release to the grander plan? Where are you willing to play in the release and allow energies? Would you like to learn more or do more of a one on one session?
