There is a wonderful conscious community center in Delray Beach where I offer channeling groups. I decided to bring my tech guy, Ryan, with me to one of my groups in 2019 so we could capture some testimonials afterwards.
After an amazing evening of channeled messages, Ryan got to work filming the participants to get their reflections. I eavesdropped as the participants gave their testimonials. My heart beamed with the beautiful insights and powerful transformations they had experienced in that single evening.
As I tidied up the room we had used, three women approached me to thank me for sharing my gifts with the group. One of them told me, “That man who is doing your filming is wonderful and so professional. He made us feel very comfortable in front of the camera.” I responded, “Oh, yes, Ryan. He is amazing. And he understands my work, which really makes a difference.” The woman nodded emphatically and said, “He is your biggest fan!”
Ryan is one of those rare treasures that I am so blessed to have on my team. There’s nothing he can’t do in the technology/film world and he has personal experience with my work. He feels like family, as do his wonderful wife and adorable mother-in-law.
As I drove home that night, I had a painful realization: Ryan was a bigger fan of my work than my own husband. I laughed out loud at the irony.
Fast forward two years later and I am a happily divorced single mother. I am grateful for all of the experiences, lessons, growth, and blessings that my marriage brought…most especially my three incredible children.
We all deserve to be fully seen and valued by those with whom we share our hearts. Sometimes we outgrow certain relationships when they can no longer serve as the containers for the growth our souls are calling forward.
